Rates for title insurance are set by and regulated by the State of Florida Board of Insurance. These charges should be uniform with all title companies throughout the State of Florida, they are referred to as “promulgated rates”.
 
In addition to the setting and regulating of title insurance rates by the State Board of Insurance title companies are governed by RESPA regulations. Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act requires the charge for abstracting and settlement or closing fee to be charged on lines 1101, and 1102 of the RESPA Hud-1 Settlement Statement whenever an institutional lender is involved.

Here is the summary of our charges:

$100.00 – Recertification Fee Promulgated rate for title insurance – * FL Form 9 endorsement to lenders policy is 10% of both title policies being issued
$25.00 for each additional endorsement to lenders policy

Courier Fees are charged as incurred with $50.00 standard charge for documents to be taken to the courthouse to be recorded and packages received and/or shipped back to the lender.

A $30.00 wire fee is passed along to the respective party for any wires received or sent.
